Kourien's medical-grade scientific skincare products made their debut at the French exhibition area.
The annual premier event for the global beauty industry—Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2026—recently concluded successfully in Italy. This year’s exhibition was unprecedented in scale, bringing together over 3,000 top brands from 69 countries. Many Taiwanese beauty and biotechnology companies joined forces to participate in this internationally recognized event, integrating technological research and development, green manufacturing, and international market experience to showcase the innovative strength and global ambitions of Taiwan’s beauty industry.
Taiwanese research-based skincare brand Gloréau showcases its products at the France Pavilion.
Among them, Taiwanese research-based skincare brand Gloréau made its debut in the France Pavilion, successfully breaking through with its medical-grade skincare positioning and becoming a promising newcomer in the eyes of European buyers and professional channels. Gloréau is supported by the Radiant Biotechnology R&D system and has long been deeply involved in the “Clinical Care” medical-grade skincare field. With its highly differentiated “research depth,” it has become an Asian brand that precisely targets the high-end European market. The most eye-catching product, the “French Eternal Peptide” series, utilizes the French patented dual-peptide complex Matrixyl 3000, which simulates skin repair signals through a precise signaling peptide mechanism, effectively promoting collagen production. This provides a precise solution for anti-aging repair and structural reconstruction.
"Hydrogen-energy facial mask" products from Taiwan attracted the attention of many foreign manufacturers at the exhibition.
In terms of technological innovation, Taiwanese manufacturer Aqua-Eye Beauty launched a dual-compartment “hydrogen-energy mask,” incorporating hydrogen particles woven into the mask fabric. When mixed with beauty essence, a hydrogen-generating reaction occurs, and the mask is ready to use after 5 minutes. Leveraging the extremely small molecular size and high penetrability of hydrogen, it quickly enters cells to neutralize harmful reactive oxygen species (ROS), exhibiting highly selective antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capabilities. This helps improve skin sensitivity, delay aging, reduce wrinkles, and enhance moisturizing performance, attracting significant attention at the exhibition.
On the hot topic of sustainability and environmental protection, All-Life Biotech, benchmarking itself against the leading international beauty giant L’Oréal’s bio-based carbon development direction, launched a 100% green standard environmentally friendly mask product. This showcases Taiwan’s forward-looking capabilities in green transformation and the application of sustainable materials, successfully attracting attention from the European market.
Gloréau, a Taiwanese scientific skincare brand positioned for medical-grade skincare, made its debut at the French exhibition area.
Yi-Dai Cosmetics, a company with years of experience in the French market, has a local manufacturing plant in Lyon, France. It possesses the capability to research and mass-produce diverse formulations including creams, lotions, and masks. This not only strengthens the product’s advantage in complying with EU regulations but also shortens supply chain timelines, enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of Taiwanese brands entering the European market and creating a new model for cross-border beauty industry cooperation between Taiwan and France.
Wang Chia-Wei, Chairman of Guangli Biotechnology, pointed out that Taiwan’s beauty industry is moving from OEM manufacturing to a new stage of branding and research. Through this international exhibition, in addition to showcasing Taiwan’s strength in high-end skincare and green technology to the world, it also further deepens its cooperative links with the European market.

Taiwanese companies joined forces to attend the Bologna Beauty Show, the Oscars of the beauty industry, showcasing their complete supply chain advantages from raw material research and development, product design to international marketing. This further highlighted the integrated strength of Taiwan’s beauty industry in three key areas: “scientific research and evidence-based evaluation,” “sustainable innovation,” and “international integration.” In the future, Taiwan will transform itself from a manufacturing player, taking a leading position on the global beauty industry stage with a dual focus on branding and technology.
